Welcome to ClearLedgerX. Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how EdenToolsHub ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the ClearLedgerX mobile application.

By using ClearLedgerX, you agree to the terms described in this policy.

Information We Collect

ClearLedgerX is designed with your privacy in mind. Here is what we collect:

Financial Data: Transaction amounts, categories, notes, and dates you manually enter. This is stored locally on your device only.

Device Information: Basic device info (OS version, device type) for crash reporting and performance.

Usage Analytics: Anonymous app usage data to improve user experience (no personal information is included).

Receipt Photos: Images you attach to transactions. These are stored locally on your device.

We do NOT collect: Your name, email, phone number, bank details, passwords, or any personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide it.

How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the ClearLedgerX app features

To improve and personalize your in-app experience

To detect and fix technical bugs and crashes

To send local notifications for bill reminders (processed on-device only)

To display currency exchange rates using a third-party API (Frankfurter)

Third-Party Services

ClearLedgerX may use the following third-party services:

Frankfurter API (frankfurter.app): Used for live currency exchange rates. No personal data is sent.

Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements. Google may collect anonymized device identifiers per their own privacy policy.

Firebase Crashlytics: Used for crash reporting. Collects anonymous diagnostic data.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these services.

Data Storage

All your financial data (transactions, budgets, bills, debts, savings goals) is stored locally on your device. We do not transmit your financial data to any external server.

Your data stays on your phone. Only you have access to it.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal information to third parties, except:

When required by law or legal process

To protect the rights, property, or safety of our users

Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time directly from within the app under Settings → Clear All Data. Uninstalling the app will also remove all locally stored data from your device.

Children's Privacy

ClearLedgerX is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of ClearLedgerX after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
