Real-World Dataset

We present a real-world testing dataset of 286 images. We've collected the ground truth depth images of 5 known objects, also present in the synthetic training set, and 5 novel objects.

Since transparent objects are not detected by RGB-D sensors, we precisely replaced each transparent object with an identical spray-painted object. The process was aided by a custom GUI application that overlaps the transparent frame with opaque frame.
