By using ClearBite AI you agree to the terms below.

1. What this app does

ClearBite AI reads the ingredients label of a food or cosmetic product from a photo you take, and explains it in plain language. It is an information tool. It is not a medical device.

2. Data we do not collect

- We do not ask you to create an account or give an email address.
- We do not collect your name, address, phone number or payment details.
- We do not track your location.
- We do not use advertising identifiers or serve ads.
- We do not sell or rent any data.

3. The photo you scan

When you scan a label, the photo is sent to Google's Gemini service (Vertex AI / Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform) for analysis, and the result is returned to your device.

- We operate no servers of our own and never receive or store your photos.
- We use Google's paid service tier. Under Google's terms for that tier, content sent through the API is   not used to train Google's models.
- Processing takes place on Google's infrastructure, which may be located outside your country. Google's handling of that data is governed by Google's own privacy policy and API terms.
- The photo is used only to produce your analysis and is not linked to your identity by us.

4. Your avoid list (allergen profile)

If you create an avoid list — for example milk, gluten, peanut or fragrance — the following applies:

- The list is stored only on your device. We never receive it.
- When you scan a product, your list is sent to Google's Gemini service together with the analysis request, so the product can be checked against it. Without this, the feature cannot work.
- Information about allergies may be considered health-related personal data in some jurisdictions. Creating an avoid list is entirely optional. You can delete entries or the whole list at any time from within the app.
- The absence of a warning is not a safety clearance. See section 8.

5. Data stored on your device

The following are stored locally and are never transmitted to us:

- Your daily scan count and PRO subscription status
- Your avoid list profiles
- Your scan history: the report text and a reduced-size copy of the photo you scanned (up to 50 scans)
- A cache of ingredient explanations, to avoid repeat requests

You can delete individual scans from the history screen, and you can remove all of this data by deleting the app.

6. Services we use

- Apple App Store / StoreKit — handles all payments. We never see your card details, billing address or Apple ID.
- Firebase Remote Config (Google) — delivers configuration such as which AI model to use and our verified additive records. It uses a Firebase installation identifier, which is a pseudonymous device identifier not linked to your identity.
- Firebase App Check with Apple App Attest — confirms that requests come from a genuine, unmodified copy of the app. This prevents abuse of the service. It uses device attestation and does not identify you personally.
- Firebase AI Logic / Google Vertex AI — performs the label analysis described in section 3.

We do not use analytics, crash reporting or user profiling tools.

7. Children

ClearBite AI is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you are a parent and believe your child has used the app in a way that concerns you, please contact us.

8. Medical disclaimer

ClearBite AI is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment or medical advice. Its reports are generated by artificial intelligence for information only and are not a verdict on any product.

AI has limits. Poor lighting, blurred photos, curved packaging, small print and unusual ingredient names can all cause it to miss or misread an item.

If you have a food allergy, a severe intolerance or a skin condition, do not rely on this app alone. Always read the physical label on the product yourself. The absence of a warning in the app does not prove that an ingredient is absent from the product.

Retailer websites and product data sheets can be out of date. Where the app's output differs from the physical packaging, the physical packaging governs.

9. Regulatory information in the app

Some entries in the app include regulatory values such as acceptable daily intakes. These are provided for information. Regulators revise such values over time, and the figures shown may not reflect the most recent decision. For anything that matters to your health, verify against the original source.

10. Limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is", for informational purposes. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability arising from intent or gross negligence, and including your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data, including the right to be informed, to request access, correction or deletion, and to object to processing.

Because we do not hold your data — your avoid list, history and settings remain on your device, and we never receive them — most of these rights are exercised directly in the app or by deleting it. If you have a question or a request, contact us at volkanmutluer@hotmail.com and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.

Data sent to Google for analysis is handled under Google's own privacy policy, and requests concerning that processing should be addressed to Google.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.

ClearBite AI'ı kullanarak aşağıdaki şartları kabul etmiş olursunuz.

1. Bu uygulama ne yapar

ClearBite AI, çektiğiniz fotoğraftan bir gıda veya kozmetik ürününün içindekiler etiketini okur ve sade bir dille açıklar. Bir bilgilendirme aracıdır, tıbbi cihaz değildir.

2. Toplamadığımız veriler

- Hesap oluşturmanızı veya e-posta vermenizi istemiyoruz.
- Adınızı, adresinizi, telefonunuzu veya ödeme bilgilerinizi toplamıyoruz.
- Konumunuzu izlemiyoruz.
- Reklam kimliği kullanmıyor, reklam göstermiyoruz.
- Hiçbir veriyi satmıyor veya kiralamıyoruz.

3. Taradığınız fotoğraf

Bir etiket taradığınızda fotoğraf, analiz için Google'ın Gemini servisine (Vertex AI / Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform) gönderilir ve sonuç cihazınıza döner.

- Kendimize ait hiçbir sunucu işletmiyoruz; fotoğraflarınız bize hiç ulaşmıyor ve tarafımızca saklanmıyor.
- Google'ın ücretli hizmet katmanını kullanıyoruz. Bu katmana ilişkin Google şartlarına göre, API üzerinden gönderilen içerik Google'ın modellerini eğitmek için kullanılmaz.
- İşleme Google'ın altyapısında gerçekleşir ve bu altyapı bulunduğunuz ülkenin dışında olabilir. Bu, kişisel verinin yurt dışına aktarılması anlamına gelir. Google'ın bu veriyi işleme biçimi Google'ın kendi gizlilik politikası ve API şartlarına tabidir.
- Fotoğraf yalnızca analizinizi üretmek için kullanılır ve tarafımızca kimliğinizle ilişkilendirilmez.

4. Kaçınma listeniz (alerjen profili)

Bir kaçınma listesi oluşturursanız — örneğin süt, gluten, fıstık veya parfüm — şunlar geçerlidir:

- Liste yalnızca cihazınızda saklanır. Bize hiç ulaşmaz.
- Bir ürün taradığınızda listeniz, üründe bu maddelerin bulunup bulunmadığının kontrol edilebilmesi için analiz isteğiyle birlikte Google'ın Gemini servisine gönderilir. Bu olmadan özellik çalışamaz.
- Alerji bilgisi, 6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu kapsamında özel nitelikli kişisel veri sayılabilir. Kaçınma listesi oluşturmak tamamen isteğe bağlıdır ve bu bilgiyi girmeniz, yukarıda açıklanan aktarıma açık rıza gösterdiğiniz anlamına gelir. Listenizi veya tek tek maddeleri uygulama içinden istediğiniz zaman silebilirsiniz.
- Uyarı çıkmaması bir güvenlik onayı değildir. Bkz. bölüm 8.

5. Cihazınızda saklanan veriler

Aşağıdakiler yalnızca cihazınızda tutulur ve bize hiç iletilmez:

- Günlük tarama sayınız ve PRO abonelik durumunuz
- Kaçınma listesi profilleriniz
- Tarama geçmişiniz: rapor metni ve taradığınız fotoğrafın küçültülmüş bir kopyası (en fazla 50 tarama)
- Tekrar sorgu yapılmasını önlemek için tutulan madde açıklamaları önbelleği

Geçmiş ekranından tek tek taramaları silebilir, uygulamayı kaldırarak tüm bu verileri tamamen yok edebilirsiniz.

6. Kullandığımız hizmetler

- Apple App Store / StoreKit — tüm ödemeleri yürütür. Kart bilgilerinizi, fatura adresinizi veya Apple Kimliği ayrıntılarınızı hiçbir şekilde görmeyiz.
- Firebase Remote Config (Google) — hangi yapay zeka modelinin kullanılacağı ve doğrulanmış katkı maddesi kayıtlarımız gibi yapılandırmayı iletir. Kimliğinizle ilişkilendirilmeyen, takma adlı bir cihaz tanımlayıcısı (Firebase kurulum kimliği) kullanır.
- Firebase App Check ve Apple App Attest — isteklerin gerçek ve değiştirilmemiş bir uygulama kopyasından geldiğini doğrular; hizmetin kötüye kullanılmasını engeller. Cihaz doğrulaması yapar, sizi kişisel olarak tanımlamaz.
- Firebase AI Logic / Google Vertex AI — 3. bölümde anlatılan etiket analizini gerçekleştirir.

Analitik, çökme raporlama veya kullanıcı profilleme aracı kullanmıyoruz.

7. Çocuklar

ClearBite AI çocuklara yönelik bir uygulama değildir ve çocuklardan bilerek veri toplamayız. Ebeveyn olarak çocuğunuzun uygulamayı kullanımıyla ilgili bir endişeniz varsa bizimle iletişime geçin.

8. Tıbbi sorumluluk reddi

ClearBite AI tıbbi cihaz değildir; teşhis, tedavi veya tıbbi tavsiye sunmaz. Raporları yapay zeka tarafından yalnızca bilgilendirme amacıyla üretilir ve hiçbir ürün hakkında değerlendirme içermez.

Yapay zekanın sınırları vardır. Kötü ışık, bulanık fotoğraf, kavisli ambalaj, küçük punto ve alışılmadık madde adları; bir maddenin atlanmasına veya yanlış okunmasına yol açabilir.

Gıda alerjiniz, ciddi bir intoleransınız veya cilt rahatsızlığınız varsa yalnızca bu uygulamaya güvenmeyin. Ürünün fiziksel etiketini her zaman kendiniz okuyun. Uygulamada uyarı çıkmaması, o maddenin üründe bulunmadığını kanıtlamaz.

Perakendeci web siteleri ve ürün bilgi formları güncel olmayabilir. Uygulamanın çıktısı fiziksel ambalajdan farklıysa, fiziksel ambalaj esastır.

9. Uygulamadaki mevzuat bilgileri

Uygulamadaki bazı kayıtlar, kabul edilebilir günlük alım gibi düzenleyici değerler içerir. Bunlar bilgilendirme amaçlıdır. Düzenleyici kurumlar bu değerleri zaman içinde revize eder ve gösterilen rakamlar en son kararı yansıtmayabilir. Sağlığınız açısından önem taşıyan konularda kaynağından doğrulayın.

10. Sorumluluğun sınırlandırılması

Uygulama, bilgilendirme amacıyla "olduğu gibi" sunulmaktadır. Uygulanabilir hukukun izin verdiği azami ölçüde, uygulamanın kullanımından doğan dolaylı zararlardan sorumlu değiliz.

Bu politikadaki hiçbir hüküm, uygulanabilir hukuk uyarınca sınırlandırılamayacak sorumluluğu — kast ve ağır ihmalden doğan sorumluluk ile tüketici olarak sahip olduğunuz yasal haklar dahil — ortadan kaldırmaz veya sınırlamaz.

11. Haklarınız

Bulunduğunuz ülkeye göre kişisel verileriniz üzerinde haklarınız olabilir. Türkiye'de 6698 sayılı Kanun'un 11. maddesi uyarınca; işlenip işlenmediğini öğrenme, bilgi talep etme, düzeltilmesini veya silinmesini isteme ve işlemeye itiraz etme haklarına sahipsiniz.

Verilerinizi elimizde tutmadığımız için — kaçınma listeniz, geçmişiniz ve ayarlarınız cihazınızda kalır ve bize hiç ulaşmaz — bu hakların çoğunu doğrudan uygulama içinden veya uygulamayı silerek kullanabilirsiniz. Sorunuz veya talebiniz için volkanmutluer@hotmail.com adresinden bize ulaşın; mevzuatın öngördüğü süre içinde yanıt veririz.

Analiz için Google'a gönderilen veriler Google'ın kendi gizlilik politikasına tabidir; bu işlemeye ilişkin talepler Google'a yöneltilmelidir.

12. Bu politikadaki değişiklikler

Uygulama değiştikçe bu politikayı güncelleyebiliriz. En üstteki tarih, metnin en son ne zaman revize edildiğini gösterir.
