I’m a published author, educator, and professional writer with a passion for helping students grow into confident writers and readers. I graduated from the College of William and Mary with a degree in English and have published books, written hundreds of educational articles, and taught English and writing to elementary, middle, and high school students.

I work one-on-one with students to strengthen grammar, composition, literature analysis, and college essay writing, tailoring each lesson to their needs. I’m dedicated to helping students develop their personal voice so they can present their best, authentic self in every piece of writing.

Whether guiding an elementary student through writing basics, helping a middle or high schooler with tricky grammar, or mentoring a senior on college essays, my goal is for students to walk away not just with better grades, but with skills and confidence they’ll carry for a lifetime.
