Install Moovit (https://moovitapp.com/) and Google Maps apps to find best assistance in moving in Sofia. You can pay by debit/credit cards to buy tickets in the public transport (price: 0.80 euro, you have to touch the payment machines in each mean of transport, after the 3rd, you are automatically upgraded to a day pass and not charged after reaching 2 euro price)
For taxis, the cheapest option is to install TAXIME app (https://taxime.to/)
From Sofia Airport:
by subway: If you land in Terminal 2: Take line М4 to Serdika or Stadium Vasil Levski, then walk
by bus: if you land in Terminal 1 or 2: take bus 84, then walk;
by taxi: IMPORTANT: take only licensed taxis from the airport - taxi company "Yellow!". For more information: https://sofia-airport.eu/en/access/transportation/
OR call a taxi from TAXIME company app and find the correct car (https://taxime.to/)
Do not take random taxis, especially when the drivers approach you and offer a taxi!
From Sofia Central Train and Bus Stations:
By subway: Take subway line M2 to Serdika II, then walk
