This Privacy Policy describes how the Cleanix: Phone Cleaner mobile application (“Cleanix” or the “Application”) handles information. The Application is provided by Vedat Kara (“Service Provider,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). For privacy questions or requests, contact zojezeka46@gmail.com.
Personal media, contact details, calendar content, and files selected for cleanup are processed on the device. They are not uploaded to Firebase, Adapty, a generative-AI provider, or any other third-party AI service.
Cleanix does not use a third-party AI service to make cleanup decisions. Similar-photo and clutter analysis runs locally. Background removal runs on the device using Apple Vision.
After Cleanix presents Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt, limited device, app-usage, diagnostic, and subscription data is sent to Google Firebase Analytics and Adapty for analytics, subscription operation, marketing measurement, and the machine-learning subscription predictions described below.
If you deny tracking, iOS restricts access to IDFA and tracking across other companies’ apps and websites. Firebase Analytics and Adapty still process the non-IDFA analytics and subscription data described below. Core cleanup features and Apple StoreKit subscription access remain available.
Cleanix requests access only when you choose a feature that needs it:
Photos and videos: Cleanix may read accessible media, thumbnails, metadata, and file bytes to inventory media, detect exact or similar items, identify clutter, preview items, compress videos, and create user-approved cleanup plans. Limited Photos access is supported for the items selected in iOS.
Contacts: Cleanix may read contact fields to find empty, duplicate, or mergeable entries. A contact change is made only after review and approval.
Calendar: Cleanix may read calendar and event fields to find duplicate, empty, old, or low-information events and to protect risky events from automatic cleanup. A calendar change is made only after review and approval.
Background-removal inputs: Images selected from Photos or Files are processed on the device with Apple Vision. Cleanix may create temporary app-owned input and output files. The original is not modified.
Cleanup state: Cleanix stores local preferences, aggregate scan state, non-sensitive policy settings, sanitized receipts, permission audit events, counts, estimates, timestamps, fixed failure codes, and app-generated temporary outputs. Cleanix preferences and sanitized receipts exclude raw personal content, filenames, file paths, raw cleanup target identifiers, contact fields, calendar titles or notes, URLs, attendees, content hashes, and raw analysis features.
Cleanix does not transmit the personal content listed above to its analytics or subscription providers. Content may leave the Application only when you explicitly use an Apple-controlled action such as sharing an export, saving an output to Photos, or deleting an item from a system library.
Cleanix does not collect face data. It does not detect faces or facial landmarks; extract face geometry, depth data, embeddings, or biometric templates; recognize or identify people; compare one person’s face with another; or use face information for authentication, advertising, marketing, profiling, or analytics. Cleanix does not use Face ID, the TrueDepth camera, ARKit face tracking, Apple’s LocalAuthentication framework, or a third-party face-recognition service.
A photo that a user permits Cleanix to access may incidentally contain a person’s face. Similar-photo analysis treats the photo only as a whole image: it creates a small on-device thumbnail and calculates image-wide perceptual hashes, color and luminance statistics, sharpness, exposure, contrast, composition, dimensions, and capture-time proximity. These values are used only to group visually similar photos and recommend which image the user may wish to keep. They are not face data and cannot be used by Cleanix to identify or authenticate a person.
Background Removal uses Apple Vision’s foreground-instance mask to separate a foreground subject from its background. It does not run a face-detection or face-recognition request and does not identify the subject. A selected source image or generated transparent PNG may incidentally contain a person’s face, but Cleanix treats it only as image content and derives no face data from it. Selected image bytes stay on the device in app memory for the active selection and editing flow. An unresolved selected-input reference expires after 30 minutes; its stored bytes are removed when it is resolved or found expired. Any app-created temporary source file is deleted after the processing attempt. A generated PNG remains in the app’s temporary directory until the user clears generated outputs, the next app launch removes prior-session Cleanix artifacts, or the user uninstalls Cleanix. A file remains outside Cleanix only if the user explicitly shares it or saves it to Photos.
No face data is collected, so no face data is used, shared, sold, uploaded, stored, retained, or deleted by Cleanix or a third party. Source thumbnails and whole-image analysis values are processed only on the device, are not sent to Firebase or Adapty, are not written to analytics or receipts, and are kept only in app memory for the current app session or until the user clears the app-owned scan state. The source and generated image content described above is likewise never sent to Firebase, Adapty, or another third party.
Cleanix starts the following services after the App Tracking Transparency request finishes. The services may collect the non-IDFA information below whether you choose Allow or Ask App Not to Track. IDFA is available only when iOS reports that you authorized tracking.
Firebase Analytics may automatically collect:
a Firebase app-instance identifier and device identifiers such as IDFV;
IDFA when Apple makes it available after tracking authorization;
app and device information, including app version, bundle identifier, device model, operating-system version, language, and time zone;
approximate region derived from a masked IP address;
product interaction and app lifecycle information, such as first launch, app opens, sessions, screen views, and app updates;
StoreKit purchase and subscription events, including product identifier, product name, price, and purchase status;
de-identified, temporary app event data used by Google’s bundled on-device conversion-measurement module for iOS campaign attribution and reporting; and
limited SDK transport diagnostics, such as event-cache size and dropped event counts.
We use this information to measure app usage, understand feature performance, measure the effectiveness of marketing and campaign conversions, plan improvements, and connect subscription outcomes to the same app installation. Cleanix does not set a Firebase user ID and does not call Firebase’s first-party on-device conversion APIs with an email address or phone number. Cleanix does not send names, email addresses, Apple Account credentials, personal content, or payment-card details to Firebase.
Adapty may receive:
app-instance and device identifiers, including IDFV, an Adapty-generated identifier, and IDFA when Apple makes it available after tracking authorization;
the Firebase app-instance identifier, which Cleanix shares with Adapty to connect subscription events to the same app installation;
app and device information such as app version, operating system, model, language, and time zone; and
Apple purchase and subscription history, including product, price, purchase or renewal status, timestamps, and Apple transaction identifiers.
Cleanix configures Adapty not to collect IP addresses and does not assign an account-level customer user ID. Cleanix uses Adapty in observer mode for subscription status, revenue and cohort analytics, purchase-event reporting, and Firebase purchase-event integration. Adapty’s analytics may apply statistical or machine-learning methods to subscription data to predict aggregate revenue or lifetime value. Adapty does not receive Cleanix users’ photos, videos, contacts, calendar content, filenames, file paths, background-removal images, support messages, or payment-card details.
On iOS, Cleanix requests permission before starting Firebase Analytics or Adapty. If you select Ask App Not to Track, iOS restricts the SDKs’ access to IDFA and tracking across other companies’ apps and websites. The SDKs still process the non-IDFA analytics and subscription data described in this policy. Refusing permission does not disable local cleanup tools or StoreKit entitlement verification.
You can later change the tracking choice in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Turning tracking off restricts future IDFA access and cross-app tracking; it does not stop the non-IDFA analytics and subscription collection described in this policy or automatically delete data collected previously. To request deletion of previously collected data, use the contact method below.
Cleanix does not sell personal media, contact data, calendar content, or background-removal inputs. When tracking is authorized, device identifiers and associated app or purchase events may be used for cross-app marketing measurement as described in Apple’s permission prompt.
Apple processes App Store downloads, payments, subscriptions, refunds, and StoreKit entitlement verification under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. Cleanix receives product and transaction status needed to present localized offers and verify access. Cleanix does not receive full payment-card details or Apple Account credentials.
Cleanix may report an Apple transaction identifier and related subscription information to Adapty after the ATT request finishes. StoreKit remains the authority for purchase completion and access.
Cleanix shares only the limited information described above with:
Google Firebase Analytics — app measurement and marketing-performance analytics, including its bundled on-device iOS conversion-measurement module: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Adapty Tech Inc. — subscription analytics and transaction reporting: https://adapty.io/end-users-privacy/
Apple — system permissions, Photos, Contacts, Calendar, Files, Vision, StoreKit, subscriptions, and user-approved sharing: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
These providers process data under their applicable terms and privacy commitments. We require providers processing data on our behalf to use it only for the described purposes and to provide the same or equivalent protection required by this policy and applicable law. They may use vetted subprocessors, comply with lawful requests, or transfer data as part of a corporate transaction subject to their legal obligations.
The current Application does not include Firebase Crashlytics, OneSignal, OpenAI, Google Gemini/Firebase AI, or another generative-AI SDK or service.
Local functional data: Local settings, aggregate state, and sanitized receipts remain until you clear the relevant data in Cleanix or uninstall the Application.
Temporary and generated files: Background-removal inputs and outputs, compressed-video artifacts, thumbnails, and caches remain only as needed for the active task or retained output. You can clear supported app-owned files in Storage settings. Cleanix removes prior-session background-removal input and output artifacts on the next app launch. Files you deliberately export or save to Photos are controlled by you and the destination you selected.
Firebase Analytics: We configure user-level and event-level retention not to exceed 14 months. Google may retain aggregated reports and operational records under its terms.
Adapty: Installation profiles and purchase analytics are retained only while reasonably necessary to provide subscription analytics, meet contractual or legal requirements, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud. Adapty deletes or anonymizes applicable end-user data on our verified written instruction, subject to legally required retention.
Support and legal requests: Communications you send by email are retained while needed to answer the request and meet legal obligations.
To request access, correction, restriction, or deletion, email zojezeka46@gmail.com with “Cleanix Privacy Request” in the subject. Because Cleanix has no user account, we may ask for limited device, app-installation, or transaction information needed to locate the correct provider record. We will forward verified deletion requests to relevant processors. We may retain records when law requires it.
Uninstalling Cleanix deletes app-controlled local storage through iOS but does not automatically delete exported files, Photos/Contacts/Calendar changes, or information already collected by third parties.
Firebase, Adapty, and their subprocessors may process information outside your country. Where required, transfers use recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions, contractual clauses, or applicable data-privacy frameworks.
Cleanix is not directed to children under 16, or a higher minimum age where required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child in violation of applicable law. A parent or guardian may contact us to request deletion.
We use data minimization, Apple permission controls, on-device processing, restricted SDK configuration, and encrypted network transport supplied by our service providers. No security method can guarantee absolute protection.
We may update this policy when the Application, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the effective date with the updated policy and provide any notice or consent required by law.
