1. Overview & Scope
This Privacy Policy governs all data collection, processing, storage and sharing activities when you install and run Cleaner Antivirus on your Android mobile device. It clarifies what data we gather, the reasons for collection, how your data is secured, your legal rights over personal data, and available contact channels for privacy inquiries.
This policy applies exclusively to Cleaner Antivirus. Any third-party websites, ads or external tools accessed through our app follow separate privacy rules outside our control. By launching and using Cleaner Antivirus, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the terms laid out in this document. Supplementary data notices may pop up inside the app before specific feature activation to deliver extra transparent information about data handling.
2. Categories of Data We Collect
We only collect data required to run core cleaning, security scanning and device detection features. All collected data falls into the below categories:
2.1 Device Technical Metadata
Based on your activated features and system permission settings, we pull non-identifiable hardware and network details:
•Unique device markers: Android ID, hardware Device ID, GAID, AD_ID
•Device brand, model, system OS version and build number
•Screen display parameters: resolution, pixel density, dimension data
•Regional tag: country code
•Network status: Wi-Fi connection state, mobile carrier info, IP address
•Storage card capacity and usage statistics
•Full list of installed applications and their package usage records
•Notification bar message records
•App own version name and build number
•System language configuration and other auxiliary technical parameters
2.2 User Interaction Logs
We record your operational behaviors within the app to track feature running status:
•Tap counts, page access sequence, page dwell duration
•Timestamp of every app launch, frequency of opening the software
•Permission authorization status you selected
•Functional running feedback (whether antivirus scanning and cleaning modules operate normally)
•Package name, initial startup timestamp and network environment during each launch
2.3 System Log Records
Automatic log collection is implemented via tracking scripts, log files and web beacon tools. Captured log content covers:
•Mobile operator information, browser configuration data
•Device version identifiers and public IP address
•Search keywords and content you browse inside Cleaner Antivirus
These logs will only be transmitted to certified third-party analytics platforms and our internal statistical system. We never resell such log data to external parties.
2.4 Android Advertising Identifier (AD_ID / GAID)
The advertising ID is collected to display targeted ad content and support user behavior analytics. This marker carries no personal identity information and will not be linked to permanent device serial numbers.
2.5 Non-Personal Anonymous Data
We gather anonymous hardware and system information that cannot trace back to individual users, such as device model series, operating system iterations, installed app catalog and storage usage metrics.
2.6 Security Scan Data (Trustlook SDK Module)
Our antivirus detection function relies on Trustlook SDK to complete risk identification. During virus scanning, the SDK will capture app-related data for security analysis:
•Application display name and package identifier
•App version string and build number
•File MD5 hash value and signature verification data
•Local installation path and file attribute information
Collection Purpose: Upload the above data to Trustlook’s cloud security database (https://saas.trustlook.com/ ) to match malware samples, identify privacy risks and generate security assessment reports.
Data Sharing Rule: This set of data is only shared with Trustlook for scanning services, and will not be diverted to advertising, marketing or other irrelevant business scenarios.
3. How We Utilize Collected Information
All data processing actions are limited to the following legitimate purposes:
1.Render core functional modules including file scanning, duplicate file sorting, antivirus detection, device hardware inspection and network status viewing
2.Analyze user interaction habits to optimize page layout and feature logic within the app
3.Maintain routine operation, fix functional failures and carry out iterative product updates
4.Deliver matching advertising materials and promotional content
5.Measure advertisement interaction volume and evaluate marketing campaign performance
When executing above processing, we may also temporarily read auxiliary data including CPU load, battery operational data, running app list and status bar records.
4. Data Sharing With Third Parties
We will only forward your data to trusted service vendors authorized to act on our behalf, such as analytics and advertising service providers. All cooperating third parties must comply with our data protection standards and sign binding confidentiality agreements.
Your data may be passed to third-party ad publishers and data tracking firms. Their use of shared information is restricted by their own independent privacy policies, and we bear no responsibility for their data handling standards.
We will not disclose your personal data to outside entities without your clear consent, except under the following circumstances:
•You submit explicit authorization for data sharing
•Local judicial authorities or government departments issue legal disclosure requests
•Processing serves public interest or academic research needs
•We need to investigate potential security incidents and safeguard our legal rights
•Situations consistent with our service terms and this privacy policy
5. Legal Basis & Cross-Border Data Transmission
For users residing in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom and Switzerland, we process personal data complying with GDPR and equivalent regional data protection regulations, relying on four legal grounds:
1.Performance of service contracts between you and us
2.Compliance with mandatory legal regulatory requirements
3.Legitimate business interests for product maintenance and security defense
4.Voluntary consent submitted by you
Certain core features cannot run normally if you refuse to provide required data.
We may transmit your data to servers located outside the EEA region. For such cross-border transfers, we adopt standard contractual clauses and other formal protective measures to ensure your data receives equivalent privacy protection as local regional standards.
6. Your Legal Rights Over Personal Data
Subject to applicable local data protection laws, you hold the below rights concerning your stored information:
•Request access to all personal data we have collected about you
•Submit modification requests to correct inaccurate record content
•Apply for full deletion of your stored personal data
•Restrict or object to ongoing data processing activities
•Request a copy of your data in portable format for migration
If data processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw such authorization at any time. Consent withdrawal will not invalidate data processing completed before revocation.
To submit any data-related request, send an email to caparrosepifaniavf7242@gmail.com. If you believe our data processing violates local privacy laws, you retain the right to file a formal complaint with local data supervisory authorities.
We only retain personal data for the minimum period necessary to sustain app services, or to satisfy tax, accounting and other legal archiving obligations. Once the retention period expires, all associated records will be permanently erased.
7. Required App Permissions
Cleaner Antivirus will request system permissions based on feature demand. You have the option to reject authorization, yet some modules may become unavailable without corresponding permissions:
•Storage permission: Read, preview and delete local files on internal and external storage
•Installed Apps Access: To support the virus scan and app management functions
•Wi-Fi access permission: Check active Wi-Fi connection details
•Other auxiliary permissions: Full internet access, measure app storage occupancy, create/remove desktop shortcuts, inspect all network links, reorder background running apps, view installed software catalog, overlay windows on other apps, display persistent status bar notifications, toggle Wi-Fi connection state, launch foreground services, expand/collapse system status bar, acquire approximate network-based location data
8. Data Security Protection
We deploy multi-layered administrative, technical and physical safeguards to shield your personal data from unauthorized access, leakage or tampering. Our team conducts periodic vulnerability inspections and continuously upgrades security defense mechanisms.
No digital storage or transmission system can achieve absolute safety. In the event of confirmed data leakage, we will notify relevant regulatory bodies as legally required, disclosing leak scope, affected user scale, potential risks and our remedial solutions. Where local laws mandate user notification, we will send relevant alerts to impacted users.
When you click external links or third-party ads within Cleaner Antivirus, you will exit our app’s security control scope. We do not take liability for the data policies of external platforms. If you discover third-party content that may endanger your privacy, contact our support mailbox promptly.
9. Third-Party Service Disclaimer
This app contains hyperlinks and advertising content managed by external operators. Clicking these links will redirect you to platforms outside our management scope. This Privacy Policy does not extend to third-party websites, and we do not endorse their data management standards.
Any information you share through external embedded services may be captured and processed by third-party operators, for which we bear no legal liability. If you require stricter privacy protection, avoid transmitting sensitive personal data via third-party channels inside our app.
10. Minor User Protection
Cleaner Antivirus is not designed for users under 13 years old. We will not actively collect personal data from children below 13. If we confirm that minor information has been stored without parental consent, we will delete all related records immediately. Parents or guardians who discover their underage children have submitted personal data to us can reach out via our support email for data clearance requests.
11. Policy Revision Mechanism
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy to match business adjustments, technical upgrades or revised legal regulations. Policy updates will be published on our official disclosure page, and we may send in-app notification reminders for major revisions. We will never reduce your legal privacy rights without your explicit written approval. Please review this policy regularly to stay informed of adjustments.
