Cleaner vs. Bacteria is developed by GraduatedDev.
This policy explains what the app stores on your device, what our advertising partner
collects, and what choices you have.
What we collect ourselves
Nothing. We operate no servers, no accounts and no analytics. We never receive your
personal data, and we cannot identify you.
What the app stores on your device
The app saves the following locally, on your device only:
your highest score and your longest run
your sound and haptics preferences
which bacteria and bosses you have encountered in the bestiary
how many bosses you have defeated
your credits, purchased upgrades, owned skins and selected skin
whether you have bought the Supporter Pack
This never leaves your device, except that Android's Auto Backup or Apple's iCloud
Backup may include it in your own device backup. Those backups are controlled by you
and your device settings; we have no access to them.
Advertising
The app shows rewarded video ads, provided by Google AdMob. A rewarded ad is
optional: it plays only after you press a button asking for one, in exchange for
doubling a run's credits or continuing a run after you are defeated. There are no
banner ads and no ads that interrupt play.
To be precise about timing: the Google Mobile Ads SDK starts when the app launches and
loads an ad in advance, so that pressing the button does not mean waiting. This means
the SDK may collect the data below from app launch, not only at the moment you choose
to watch. Where consent is required, this happens only after you have given it.
Google AdMob may collect and process:
- your device's advertising identifier
- your IP address, and an approximate (city-level) location derived from it
- information about your device, such as model, operating system version and language
- how you interact with ads shown in the app
- diagnostic and crash information from the ads SDK
Google uses this to select and measure ads. Google acts as an independent controller of
this data. Its practices are described at:
- Google Privacy Policy — https://policies.google.com/privacy
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services —
https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Your advertising choices
Where the law requires it — including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom,
Switzerland and certain US states — the app shows a consent form before any
personalised advertising data is used. You can change your answer at any time from the
app's Settings → Ad Privacy Choices.
You can also reset or delete your advertising identifier at the operating system level:
Android: Settings → Google → Ads
iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and → Apple Advertising
On iOS, the app asks for your permission before tracking you across apps and websites.
Declining does not restrict any part of the game.
Purchases
The app offers one optional purchase, the Supporter Pack. Payment is handled entirely
by Google Play Billing or the Apple App Store. We never see or receive your card
number, billing address, or any other payment detail. The store tells the app only
whether the purchase is currently valid.

Children
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has
provided data through the app's advertising partner, contact us at the address below
and we will assist in directing the request to Google.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port
your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent.
Because we hold no personal data ourselves, requests about advertising data should be
directed to Google using the links above; we will help where we can. To exercise any
right, or to complain, contact us below. EEA and UK residents may also complain to
their national data protection authority.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling the app removes everything it has stored on your device. You can also clear
it at any time:
Android: Settings → Apps → Cleaner vs. Bacteria → Storage → Clear data
iOS: delete and reinstall the app
Advertising data held by Google is deleted according to Google's own retention policy;
use the links above to make a request directly to Google.
Permissions
Vibration — haptic feedback during play. You can turn haptics off in Settings.
Internet — used only to load rewarded ads and to verify purchases.
Advertising ID (Android) — used to serve advertising as described above.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new
effective date. Material changes affecting advertising or purchases will also be
reflected in a new consent prompt where the law requires one.
