Richard Cadena is an ETCP Recognized Trainer, an ETCP Certified Entertainment Electrician with 40 years of experience in live event production. He is the author of “Electricity for Entertainment Electricians & Technicians, 4th Edition” and “Automated Lighting: The Art and Science of Moving and Color-Changing Light, 3rd Edition.” He is a member in good standing of IATSE Local 205 Austin
Alan is the Safety & Training Director for IATSE Local 728. Prior to this appointment, Alan worked extensively as a Gaffer, Programmer, Lighting Designer, Master Electrician, and Production Manager. Alan has been a speaker for LDI, INFOCOMM, and the California State Fire Marshals FSO Training Program.
MARI JO WINKLER (she/her) is a NY-based Emmy nominated Film and Television Producer. She executive produced True Detective Night Country for HBO and is currently in development on the next season.

Through her work as a co-chair of the PGA Sustainable Task Force and as well as a Co-Chair of the DGA Sustainable Future Committee she promotes sustainable production practices and climate messaging through storytelling.
Winkler served on the PGA East board from 2016-2021 and in 2019 received the Charles FitzSimons Award for her service to the guild.
Jendra Jarnagin is a bi-coastal Director of Photography whose credits include Emily in Paris, East New York, Asking for It, and the Oscar short-listed documentary All the Walls Came Down, directed by Ondi Timoner, about the community of Altadena’s recovery from the Los Angeles wildfires.
As a passionate environmentalist, Jendra has become an advocate for sustainable production and recently accepted the role of Eastern Region co-chair of the Sustainability Committee for the International Cinematographers Guild, Local 600. Stephen started his career as a commercial electrician in Detroit. He graduated honors from Brooks institute of Photography in 1985.
Stephen worked as a gaffer and Director of photography in Wilmington, NC .He was a founding member of I.A.T.S.E. Local 491 in 1993.
Stephen joined Local 600 camera in 1997 and worked on many films as DP and camera operator. In 2016 he moved to Sea Cliff Long Island with his wife and two of his 4 children .
He is now a member of local 52 and runs Bulldog Lighting
renting portable batteries for film sets 20KWH and less.
He holds a Certificate of Fitness with the FDNY to operate portable batteries.
Stephen is trying to make filming in NY and NJ cleaner and greener.
David Hardy is a 30-year veteran of Film & TV production and a longtime advocate for industry sustainability. He is Co-Founder, Chief Market Development Officer, and Principal at Hone, developers of the first zero-emission internal combustion hydrogen generator and hydrogen delivery service built for Film & TV production.
His career has included free-lancing (IA 411 Charter member), followed by 23 years in stakeholder and government relations and sustainability, most recently with William F. White International (later Sunbelt Rentals) where he continued this work as VP, Sustainability & Stakeholder Affairs, developing deep connections within the North American industry sustainability movement.
Kelly Britt is a NYC area based Studio Mechanic, electrician. Starting out in the world of Multi-camera TV productions and in the late 1980’s with such productions as: “The ESPY Awards”, “The Essence Awards” and “The Cosby Show” (The original sitcom), By the mid 1990’s Kelly worked on “Soul Man”, (a sitcom) and “The Chris Rock Show” for HBO, The list of other productions that Kelly has contributed his efforts to ranges from “The Devil Wears Prada” (1 and 2), “Birdman”, “The Departed”, “Mona Lisa Smile”, and “A House of Dynamite”. (all feature length movies). Other productions include: “Whoopi”, and the “Murphy Brown reboot” (sitcoms), “Million Second Quiz”, and “America’s Got Talent, Season #7”, (game shows) as well as episodic TV shows including “Blue Bloods”, “NCIS NY”, Law & Order” among many others.
At this point in his career Kelly finds teaching the next generations of studio mechanic electricians particularly satisfying. It forces him to continuously ask the question: “Why do we do it this way?”
Kelly has also earned the credential from ETCP as an “Entertainment Electrician, Recognized Trainer”.
Joe Guest
Joe Guest is a Producer based in New York City with over 25 years of experience in film and television production. Joe grew up on an organic vegetable farm in Vermont. He has always been an advocate for sustainable practices in film & television production; recent efforts have focused on increasing use of EVs and battery technology.
Joe has worked with award-winning filmmakers such as Bong Joon Ho, Peter Farrelly, Steve Zaillian, Josh Safdie, Gus Van Sant, Ridley Scott, Mike Nichols, Jodie Foster, Todd Field, Ang Lee and Todd Haynes. Recent credits include: Executive Producer on the upcoming I PLAY ROCKY, MARTY SUPREME for A24, Line Producer on RIPLEY (Netflix), Co-Executive Producer on BLACK BIRD (Apple TV).
Tommy South
Tommy South is a DGA Location Manager with more than 15 years of experience in film and television production. His credits include Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, The Bride, The Irishman, The Watcher, Pose, Manifest, American Horror Story, and the original Netflix Marvel series (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist & The Defenders).. He has several upcoming films including Taylor Sheridan’s “F.A.S.T.” Tommy is also known for creation of a Location Filming Hot Spot Map used widely in the NYC Scouting Filming Community and local NYC Union/Non-Union Location Scouts.
Brooks Lockwood
Brooks Lockwood is an Assistant Chief Lighting Technician and proud member of I.A.T.S.E. Local 52 and ICLS. He works in film, television, and commercials throughout the New York metropolitan area. His credits include Fallout, John Wick: Chapters 3 and 4, and The Whale. He collaborates with studio sustainability departments to test and implement battery power on set, contributing firsthand experience to cleaner energy production.
Noah Prince

Developer, Hybrid Battery System
A 32-year I.A.T.S.E. Local 52 electrician, Noah Prince combines deep set experience with clean energy innovation. Noah developed the Hybrid Battery System, a mobile power solution for working trucks that cuts idling and drastically reduces diesel emissions. Successfully deployed to satisfy demanding sustainability goals for studios including Netflix and Universal Pictures, the system represents an exciting new chapter for Noah in the industry’s constantly evolving transition toward green technology.
Tyler Harmon-Townsend
Tyler Harmon-Townsend spent a decade as an I.A.T.S.E. Local 52 electrician and chief lighting technician in film and television production, working on shows including Broad City, Mr. Robot, and Random Acts of Flyness. He left the industry to pursue a Master's in Urban Sustainability at CUNY, where his capstone research focused on battery energy storage systems (BESS). Today he works as an Energy Engineer conducting energy audits and electrification studies for buildings across NYC, and teaches building science and energy engineering at CUNY's Building Performance Lab. He's excited to bring his sustainable energy background back to the I.A.T.S.E. Local 52 and filmmaking community.

Derek Gross
Derek Gross ICLS, IA52, Is a seasoned CLT of both TV and feature films. He has worked on Emmy winning Mini-series “Godless”, as well as major film productions “Eddington”, “No Sudden Moves” as well network TV shows Law and Order and God Friended me. He is a member of IA local 52 as well as the International cinematic lighting society (ICLS). He is based out of Brooklyn NY where he continues to serve as the Main unit CLT for “Law and Order” season 25.
Michael Solomon
Brooklyn native Michael Solomon is a sustainability consultant, writer, and former producer. For the past five years, he has worked with multiple studios, department heads and crew members to help transition shows to clean technology. Solomon's recent article about the infamous Tylenol murders became a Netflix documentary series. Producing credits include How to Eat Your Watermelon in White Company (and Enjoy It) and Constantine's Sword. He is a proud member of the PGA.
Rocco Palmieri
Rocco Palmieri is the Electric Department department representative for I.A.T.S.E. Local 52. He has been working as an electrician since 1991, most recently as a rigging gaffer.
Meg Schrock
Meg Schrock is the chair of I.A.T.S.E. Local 52's Green Committee. She plays all roles as an electrician: from board op to genny op, rigging gaffer to gaffer, best boy to shop electric. With experience in all forms of production including commercials, movies, and TV shows.
Gary Wilkins
Gary Wilkins is a Local 52 Lighting Control Programmer of 10 years, with previous careers in construction and IT. He has a passion for problem solving, and enjoys exploring new technologies and sharing knowlege. His hobbies include metal working, gaming, and spending time with his wife and two cats.

John Woods is a Local 52 Rigging Gaffer. He has been in the union for 23 years. John enjoys teaching classes to his fellow union electricians.
