CleanDays: Recovery Tracker ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
Information We Collect
Personal Information: When you set up your profile, we collect your display name to personalize your experience and for use in the community feature.
Health and Wellness Data: The app collects mood entries, journal entries, streak data, and recovery milestones. This data is stored locally on your device using Android DataStore and is not transmitted to external servers unless you choose to share via the community feature.
Community Posts: If you post in the community section, your display name and post content are transmitted to our secure servers (Supabase) over encrypted HTTPS connections.
AI Chat: Conversations with the AI coach are processed through a third-party AI service. No personally identifiable information is sent with these requests.
How We Use Your Information
To provide core app functionality (streak tracking, mood logging, journaling)
- To display your posts in the community feed
- To personalize your recovery experience
- To send optional daily motivation notifications
Data Security
All data transmitted from the app is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Local data is stored securely on your device. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.
Data Retention and Deletion
Most of your data is stored locally on your device. You can delete all local data by clearing the app data or uninstalling the app. Community posts stored on our servers can be removed by contacting us.

Supabase (database for community features)
- AI language model API (for the AI coach feature)
These services have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.
Children's Privacy
CleanDays is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.
