Microsuction

Microsuction is a safe, precise method of removing earwax and debris from the ear canal using gentle suction. It works similarly to a tiny vacuum cleaner, gently removing wax or debris without applying pressure.

Water Irrigation

Water Irrigation is a safe and effective method of removing earwax and debris. Using a controlled flow of body-temperature water to gently warm and flush out the ear canal.

Manual

Using specialist tools to remove any larger or stubbon blockages

Your comfort and safety are always the priority, and the procedure is stopped at any time if you feel any discomfort. I can use a combination of techniques if required.

Before your visit -

To make your ear wax removal treatment as quick, comfortable, and effective as possible, it is recommended to use ear drops for a few days before your appointment.

Ear drops help to soften and loosen the wax, making it easier and safer to remove using microsuction or water irrigation.

Apply 2–3 drops into each ear, 2–3 times per day
Use for 3–5 days before your appointment

If You’re Unable to Use Ear Drops

Don’t worry – treatment is still possible

While ear drops are recommended to soften wax before removal, they are not always suitable for everyone. If you’re unable to use them, you can still safely have ear wax removal.

Consent Form - Before any ear wax removal procedure is carried out you will be required to complete a consent form. This is to provide medical history and ear health for insurance and treatment requirements.
