Welcome to Clean Paraguay! An initiative focusing on educating the next generation of Paraguayans on the dangers of plastic pollution through competitive school activities!

How does it all work?

The Clean Paraguay competition has four stages.

Register

Contact us and we will send one of our extentionists out to your school to speak with administration about the logistics of the challenge and the deadlines associated with it.

Educate

Part of the competition will be utilizing materials found on this website to educate your students about the dangers of plastic pollution and the ways in which plastic recycling benefits the Earth.

Compete!

Each school will be tasked with clearing the litter from a public space and collecting it for transport to a trash collection facility. The students must use the knowledge that they gained in the previous segment to correctly dispose of or recycle the collected waste and educate their local community in the process.

Evaluation

Schools will submit materials showing the progress made on this one day in the chosen area and their efforts to educate others. Judges will review each school's submissions and a Clean Paraguay Challenge winner will be declared. The chosen school will receive a monetary grant as a prize for their efforts in sustainability.
