Juan Álvarez (hereinafter, "the Developer") is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled within the Clean Music Player mobile application.
1. Information Collection and Use
1.1. Audio File Information (Core Functionality): The application is a local and offline music player. To function properly, it requests access to the device's storage (READ_MEDIA_AUDIO). This permission is used exclusively to scan, list, and play audio files physically stored on your device. We do not access your personal photos, videos, or documents.
1.2. Personal Data: We do not require account registration, nor do we collect personally identifiable information such as your name, phone number, or email address.
1.3. Metadata and Covers (External and Internal Processing):
Cover Search: To improve the visual experience, the app utilizes the public Deezer API. When searching for a cover, the app sends only the artist's name as a search term to Deezer's servers. No user data or device identifiers are shared during this process.
ID3 Tags: Reading titles, albums, and artists from your files is performed 100% locally and offline through internal libraries.
2. Third-Party Services
To provide free features and technical support, we use third-party services that may independently collect data (such as advertising identifiers):
Google AdMob: To display advertisements. AdMob may use the Android Advertising ID to personalize ads.
Google Play Services: For payment management and the technical stability of the application.
Deezer API: Used solely for retrieving artist cover images.
3. Storage and Security
3.1. Local Data: Your playlists, equalizer settings, and preferences are saved locally on your device. The Developer does not own external servers (Backend); therefore, if you uninstall the application or clear its data, all local information will be permanently deleted.
3.2. Payments: Transactions for the Premium version or the "Daily Pass" are processed through Google Play Billing. The Developer never has access to your credit card details or financial information.
4. Children's Privacy
Our application is safe for the general public. However, it is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. In accordance with Google Play policies, the application is classified for an audience consistent with the content rating assigned in the store.
5. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this policy to reflect changes in the app's functionality or legal requirements. It is recommended to review this section periodically.
