Thank you for using Clean Go. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, how it may be shared, and your rights under applicable data protection laws. By using Clean Go, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.
We may automatically collect device type, operating system version, network information, IP address, crash logs, analytics data, advertising ID (GAID), cookies, app activity, feature interactions, and diagnostic information needed to maintain and improve the App.
Clean Go requests specific permissions to provide core cleaning and optimization functions. Below is how each permission is used:
android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Requested when tapping features on the Home page on Android 10 and below. This is used to read files from external storage for scanning junk files and completing cleaning operations.
android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Requested on Android 10 and below when using file-cleaning features. This permission allows the App to delete or modify unnecessary files during cleanup.
android.permission.MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Requested when using Home page cleaning features on Android 11 and above. This permission allows the App to manage and clean files stored in external storage with system-approved access.
android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS
Requested only upon the first launch on devices running Android 13 or above. We request this to deliver optional notifications such as cleaning reminders. No additional request occurs when entering the Home page.
android.permission.PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS
Requested when you attempt to view app cache size while cleaning junk files. On Android 6 and above, this permission allows Clean Go to access app usage information needed to retrieve accurate cache data.
android.permission.GET_PACKAGE_SIZE
Used on Android 6 and below without requiring a permission request. This allows the App to obtain the size of other installed applications to support cleaning features.
android.permission.REQUEST_DELETE_PACKAGES
No runtime request is required. This permission is used to support optional uninstall-related features inside the App.
android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE
Used without requesting permission. This enables Clean Go to run stable foreground services to complete cleaning tasks.
android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE
Used on Android 14 and above without prompting the user. This allows the App to declare and use special-purpose foreground services required for core cleaning functions.
We do not use permissions for any purpose unrelated to App functionality, nor do we collect files without your explicit action.
We may collect information you voluntarily provide when contacting our support team.
Any files, media, or information you choose to upload or interact with in the App remain under your control.
