Dual Enrollment means that students are taking high school and college-credit classes at the same time.
Students will attend the college classes after their regular high school day ends, on their own time. (CLC offers afternoon, evening, and online course options.) Students can also decide to take classes during the summer so they still have time for sports and other extracurricular activities.
Like other CLC students, you will have access to the complete range of CLC support services (such as the library, advising and tutoring), and you can select the courses you're interested in. If you're looking for a little extra challenge, and want to get a jump start on college, this is a great option for you!
No, students and parents/guardians will be responsible for making payment arrangements to pay for the tuition & fees and any class materials.
Students and parents/guardians will also be responsible for arranging for their own transportation
Our non-credit, non-graded classes are rich with content fun, relaxing, and enlightening!
FYI: Students must be 18yrs or older to take a Discovery class. However, if there is a parent/guardian who enrolls with the student, they could take the class together. As long as the student is 14yrs or older.
