Procedure:
Keep your Microsoft PowerPoint presentation open!
Select slide 1: Title Slide
To select a slide, click on it from the slides menu.
You will be adding a transition to each slide! Once you have finished with one slide, click on the next one to continue working.
NOTE: You can only add one transition to each slide.
FIRST STEP!! AUTOMATIC TRANSITIONS! To ensure your presentation moves automatically through each slide, complete the final two steps! Open the Transitions Menu and find the options listed below:
1. By default, your slides are programmed to progress to the next one "on Mouse Click", so you will need to uncheck that option!
2. Once that is UNSELECTED, then you will just select "APPLY TO ALL" and VOILA. You are ready to transition!
Get to Know the Transitions:
3. Look to the right of the HOME menu, and click on Transitions.
4. Once you click on Transitions Menu, the available transitions will appear in a sub-menu, similar to the one pictured below.

5. Look for a small ">" arrow. When you click on this, it will scroll through all of the available options .
6. Click on the transitions to add and explore.
7. Once you select a transition, PowerPoint will play it to show you what it looks like.
8. If you want to change it, click on a different transition to select it.

9. Once you have selected the appropriate transition, click on the next slide to select it.
10. You can elect to add the same transition to each slide, by once again selecting "Apply to All" (as seen on step 2).
11. To remove a transition, click on the Transitions menu and select "NONE"
12. Be sure to play the presentation and check that the transitions are appropriate for the message you are trying to convey before moving on to the next step!
