Welcome to ClawCook. By using our application, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Agreement to Terms

• By downloading, installing, or using the ClawCook app, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

2. User Accounts

• Registration is required for full use of the app (data synchronization).

• You are responsible for protecting your access password.

• You can permanently delete your account and all stored data at any time directly in the app under the Profile section.

3. Your Content and Privacy

• All recipes and ingredients you enter into the app remain your property.

•  You grant us the right to store this data in an encrypted cloud (Google Firebase) solely for the purpose of synchronizing it across your devices. We do not sell or provide your data to third parties.

4. Intellectual Property

• The app name, the crab logo, and the source code are the intellectual property of the developer and are protected by copyright laws.

5. Disclaimer of Liability (Important)

• Informational Nature: ClawCook is a digital assistant. Recipes and procedures are provided for informational purposes only.

• Cooking Responsibility: We are not liable for any health damages (allergic reactions, food poisoning) or property damages (kitchen fires, damaged appliances) resulting from the preparation of meals according to the app.

• Data Availability: While we strive for maximum cloud reliability, we are not responsible for any temporary service unavailability or data loss caused by technical outages.

6. Voice Control

• The use of voice commands is optional. Audio is processed in real-time directly on the device, and recordings are never stored.

7. Camera Usage and OCR Recognition

• Access: The App requires access to your device’s camera to scan grocery receipts or printed recipes.

• Processing: We use Google OCR technology to convert these images into digital data.

• Privacy: Images are processed in real-time for the sole purpose of data extraction. ClawCook does not store your photos on any server or cloud storage. Once the text is extracted, the image is discarded.

8. Automatic Translation of External Content

• Functionality: To improve accessibility, ClawCook automatically translates recipes found via web suggestions into your application's set language.

• Data Transmission: This process uses the Google Translate API. By using the app, you acknowledge that external recipe content is transmitted to Google for real-time translation processing.

• Accuracy: Translations are machine-generated and may not be 100% accurate. We are not liable for errors in translated instructions or ingredients.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. We will inform you of important changes directly within the app.
