Community Engagement Event on: Saturday 13th June at the village fete on Jubillee Field,  Clavering .  From  1:00 pm.

The NPSG hosted a gazebo featuring a visual gallery of posters outlining the processes and milestones already achieved by the group. This allowed residents to talk and engage with NPSG members about its current stage. NPSG members handed out flyers with the most up to date information and contact details. Many parishioners work at the fete, and a large percentage of the visiting public is not local.  Although footfall was not huge for us, parishioners were happy to engage with the updates and the new project.  We also held a game for the children, 'Granny Pants', that was enjoyed by people of all ages.

We also informed the public about a project aimed at gathering community data on local wildlife migration corridors around Clavering. Residents were encouraged to report sightings to help map and protect critical habitats and this information will be incorporated within the final plan.

Drop-in sessions held on: Thursday 31st July, at Eastwood, Arkesden Road; Thursday 28th August, at The Cricket Pavilion, Hill Green; and Thursday 18th September, next to Christian Centre.  All from 4pm to 7pm.

Survey conducted at the Village Shop in Stortford Road on 1st and 2nd March 2025.

Meeting to elect the CNP Steering Group.  Held at the Clavering Christian Centre 7:30 Tuesday 25th February.

Meeting to start the process of creating a formal CNP Steering Group.  Held at the Clavering Christian Centre 7:30pm Monday 21st January.

A survey was delivered to all the households in the village to get concensus on the proposed CNP Vision and input on the concerns of the village regarding the proposed housing allocation .  Details of the survey can be found here: Survey Oct 2024 .  Details of the responses can be found here: Documents.

Consultations were held in the village to get feedback on the proposal to have a Neighbourhood Plan.  Details of the responses can be found here: Documents. Subsequently it was determined that the village should move ahead with a Clavering Neighbourhood Plan (CNP) and a Working Party (WP) was formed.

Clavering Parish Council meeting at the Christian centre on 28th November to centre with the public following Uttlesford District Councils draft plan proposing 111 new homes allocated to the village.  At the meeting it was proposed that the village should move forward with a Neighbourhood Plan.
