Education:

I have earned a degree in Special Education from the University of South Florida (USF) in 2009 and went on to complete a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) in 2023. I hold multiple certifications in Florida, including Exceptional Student Education (Grades K-12), Elementary Education (Grades K-6), Middle Grades Integrated Curriculum (Grades 5-9), and an ESOL Endorsement. Additionally, I am certified in Florida Educational Leadership (FELE), further enhancing my ability to lead and support diverse educational environments.

Experience:

I am an experienced special education teacher with a strong background in teaching emergent reading and math (K-6) while providing individualized instruction to students with varying exceptionalities. I specialize in delivering math and reading interventions, utilizing MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Support) and RTI (Response to Intervention) frameworks to meet the diverse needs of students. As a former classroom, special education resource, ESOL, and technology teacher, I support ESOL students, as well as those with ADHD and students on the autism spectrum, helping them reach their full potential in an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
