Hi everyone, I am a marine biologist and a passionate scientific diver.
Currently, I am enrolled as a PhD student in the Marine Zoology Lab at Polytechnic University of Marche (UNIVPM, Ancona, Italy).
In my life, research and diving training have always advanced side-by-side; indeed, diving for me is a tool to contribute to scientific knowledge, provide solid data to support conservation measures, raise awareness, and... have a lot of fun.

My PhD project, under the supervision of Prof. Carlo Cerrano, aims to investigate benthic communities with a focus on mesophotic environments and innovative monitoring techniques.

As for diving, my main goal is to enter the world of technical and close-circuit rebreather diving as soon as possible.
