Provided detailed script coverage two freelance screenplay projects. Each coverage followed a professional industry format, including evaluation of concept, story, character, dialogue, structure, pacing, catharsis, and originality, along with written comments. 

Script Coverage & Development (Freelance - Paid) 

Provided detailed script coverage on a student-written screenplay, focusing on structure, character development, thematic clarity, and overall narrative effectiveness.

My coverage included an assessment of the screenplay’s strengths, particularly its structue and central concept, as well as areas requiring development. Key issues identified included unclear character objectives, gaps in narrative progression, and moments where thematic intent was not fully supported by on-page action.

After the coverage phase, I participated in a development rewrite process focused on improving narrative clarity and strengthening overall structural execution.

In this stage, I worked directly with the screenplay in a hands-on editorial capacity, refining scenes, clarifying character objectives, and addressing structural issues identified during coverage.

My contributions included:

• Revising and restructuring selected scenes to improve pacing and narrative flow

• Strengthening character motivation and clarifying objectives within key sequences

• Adding original scene material where needed to support story logic and emotional continuity

• Enhancing the thematic throughline to improve the story’s resolution and overall impact

• Preserving the writer’s original voice and effective dialogue while improving narrative coherence
