2. Single Purpose & Scope

The single purpose of the Extension is to provide real-time token tracking, accurate pricing estimations, and session quality metrics exclusively within the claude.ai user interface via Chrome's Native Side Panel.

3. Data Collection and Usage (100% Local)

We believe in absolute data privacy.

• No Server Collection: The Extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, chat history, prompts, API usage logs, or browsing history to any external servers.

• Local Processing: All DOM text monitoring, character-to-token parsing, readability scoring, and model risk analysis happen completely locally inside your browser environment.

• Chrome Storage API: Your configuration data, accumulated token metrics, historical logs, and Gumroad License activation status are saved strictly on your local machine using chrome.storage.local.

4. Third-Party Services

The Extension interacts with only one third-party endpoint strictly for operational monetization logic:

• Gumroad API: When you enter a Premium License Key, the Extension makes a secure, direct HTTPS request to Gumroad's official API (api.gumroad.com) to verify the purchase validity of the license key. No contextual data from your Claude sessions is ever sent with this request.

5. Chrome Web Store Permissions Justification

To fulfill its single purpose, the Extension requests the following strict permissions:

• storage: To save your settings, premium activation state, and cost tracking history locally.

• sidePanel: To render the dashboard, analytical graphs, and user interface natively.

• activeTab: To securely scan the visible text elements on your active window to calculate token metrics.

• Host Permission (claude.ai): To inject local analysis content scripts strictly into Anthropic's chat domain.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your machine, you have full control over it. Uninstalling the Extension or clicking the "Reset Session Data" button inside the dashboard will instantly and permanently erase all accumulated logs, history records, and license keys from your device.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to align with Chrome Web Store developer program updates. Any changes will be posted on this page and updated with a new effective date.
