We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use the Copy/Paste Manager Chrome Extension.
We only collect the minimum amount of data required to provide the extension's core functionality:
Google User Email: We fetch your email address via the Google Identity API to identify your role within a Google Doc.
Google Drive Metadata: We access document metadata (roles and capabilities) via the Google Drive API to determine if you are an Owner, Editor, or Viewer.
Extension Settings: We store your custom permission preferences (e.g., "Block Copy for Viewers") in Chrome’s storage.sync area.
We do not collect, store, or transmit the actual text or content within your Google Documents.
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to outside parties. All authentication is handled directly through Google OAuth.
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Service User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
