Books:
Rosie Revere, Engineer ; Iggy Peck, Architect ; and Ada Twist, Scientist by Andrea Beaty are great children's books that describe successful women in the STEM field. We will be discussing their achievements in class and the books are available at the local library. I highly suggest engaging your child in discussions about these books.

Science in Early Childhood - Learn more about why and how science is important for young students. This episode of the podcast series discusses the importance of STEM for kids in a positive view of the development of the whole child.

Discovery Education - This website allows students to learn more about a variety of scientific concepts. It goes over physical, life, and Earth.
Science Fair Project Ideas - This website will provide you with many ideas, not only for science fairs, but also for fun science activities at home. We will even try out some of these ideas in the classroom!
