Is Classlly free to use? While the app offers a premium experience, guest mode is available for offline access. Note that subscription logic for premium features is currently part of the long-term roadmap.
What tools are available for note-taking? The app features an advanced ink engine with various pen types, including Monoline, Fountain, Reed, Watercolor, Brushes, Highlighters, and Erasers.
Can I use templates for my notes? Yes, you can choose from several smart templates, including Dot Grid, Squared, Lined, Cornell, or Blank page layouts.
Does Classlly support PDFs and images? Yes, you can insert and manipulate images or interactive PDF snippets directly on the canvas.
How does the Student Dashboard work? The dashboard provides a real-time visualization of your academic health, including GPA trends and attendance rates, alongside a Kanban task board for assignments.
Can I record audio with my notes? Audio recording and synchronization are currently planned features but are not implemented in the current production version.
How is my data synchronized? Classlly uses real-time cloud sync powered by Supabase, with local persistence via Hive to ensure your notes are accessible even without an internet connection.
What login methods are supported? You can sign in using your email/password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In.
Is my academic data secure? Yes, the app implements Row Level Security (RLS) and reasonable security measures to ensure your data remains private and protected.
