1:15 pm - 1:45 Raising the Pride Flag Ceremony
Flag Pole
Celebrate the raising of the flag to kick-off Pride Month. The display of the Pride Flag shall be one part of a broader recognition of the need to continue to manifest the work we all commit to do as educators, from Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility and Anti-Racism (DEIAA) initiatives and basic needs programming, to the dismantling of systemic barriers for marginalized communities, in an effort to create and cultivate safe, positive, and welcoming spaces for students, and especially LGBTQIA+ students. Pride month history and Pride Center services will be provided for this event.
