I have many years of experience teaching young children the art of Ballet through the RAD method which encourages movement musicality and imagination. The world of Ballet is a colorful place that encourages the language of movement as a tool of communication. The child develops spatial and musical awareness which helps in other areas of life that require spatial and rhythmical attention. Toward the teen years students feel the improvement in energy and goal-setting skills of Ballet that promote the well-being of the whole dancer, improving confidence and posture.
Later on in my teaching I started teaching adult Ballet classes and realized how much joy this art brings the ladies, there is a grace and appreciation of movement that is felt beyond the body.
