ClassFlow Privacy Policy

ClassFlow is a local-first class and teaching-business management app. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information when you use it.
Information you enter
ClassFlow can store information you choose to enter, including student and guardian names, phone numbers, email addresses, class schedules, attendance, make-up credits, payment records, expenses, notes, tags, and business settings.
How information is used
This information is used only to provide ClassFlow features on your device, including student management, scheduling, attendance, finance tracking, reports, and reminders.
Local storage
ClassFlow stores your business information locally on your device. ClassFlow does not operate a cloud service, does not upload your student or payment data to our servers, and does not use advertising or analytics SDKs.
Contacts
If you choose Select from Contacts, Android’s system contact picker lets you select contacts to import. ClassFlow only receives the name and phone number of contacts you explicitly select. It does not request broad access to your entire address book.
Backups and exports
Backups and CSV exports are created only when you explicitly choose Export or Back up and select a destination through Android’s file picker. These files may contain personal and financial information. Keep them secure and share them only with people you trust.
ClassFlow can prepare fee reminders and payment confirmations for WhatsApp. A message is opened only after you take an explicit action, and you review it in WhatsApp before sending. ClassFlow does not send WhatsApp messages automatically.
Notifications
Class reminders and class-status prompts are local device notifications. You can turn all notifications, individual reminder types, and reminder timing on or off in Settings.
Data deletion
You can permanently remove all ClassFlow data stored on your device at any time through Settings > Delete all local data. This removes students, classes, attendance, payments, make-ups, expenses, and app settings from the device. Export a backup first if you may need your information later.
Children’s information
ClassFlow is intended for teachers and business owners. Teachers are responsible for obtaining any consent required to store information about students, including minors.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes. The latest version will be published on this page.
