    Overview

Economics Guide is a Grade 10 / SEE Economics study application provided by Bijay Belbase ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information when you use its study content, saved items, optional AI chat, and rewarded advertisements.

We do not require you to create an account to use the app.

Information stored on your device

The app stores the following information locally in its private app storage so that its study features work:

• your selected study language;

• bookmarked questions and study topics;

• flashcard review status; and

• up to 50 messages and responses from the optional AI chat.

This local study data is not sent to us by the app. You can delete it at any time by clearing the app's storage in your Android device settings or by uninstalling the app.

Advertising

The app uses Google Mobile Ads / AdMob to display optional rewarded ads after you choose to watch an ad to support the app. Google and its advertising partners may collect and process information needed to provide ads, measure performance, and prevent fraud. This can include IP address, device and advertising identifiers, app and ad interactions (such as taps or video views), and diagnostic information.

Google may use this information under its own policies and may provide personalised or non-personalised ads depending on your device settings, region, consent choices, and AdMob configuration. Learn more in the Google Privacy Policy and Google's Mobile Ads SDK data disclosure.

Optional AI chat

The app can operate with sample replies and does not require an AI service. If the developer enables live AI chat in a future release, the question you type and the economics-study context necessary to answer it will be sent to Google's Gemini API. Do not submit personal, confidential, financial, medical, or other sensitive information through AI chat.

Google processes requests to the Gemini API under its applicable terms and privacy documentation. You can avoid this processing by not using AI chat. We will update this policy before enabling any materially different AI-data practice.

How information is shared

We do not sell your study data. Information is shared only with the service providers described above when you choose to use their features: Google Mobile Ads for rewarded advertising and, if live AI is enabled, Google Gemini for AI chat. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Children and students

Economics Guide is educational software for Grade 10 / SEE learners. We do not knowingly ask users to provide personal information. Parents, guardians, and students should review device privacy controls and should not enter personal information into AI chat. The developer will configure advertising and any third-party features in accordance with applicable age, consent, and platform requirements before making a release available to children.

Security and retention

Local study information remains on your device until you clear the app's storage or uninstall the app. Third-party providers retain information according to their own policies. Data transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit; however, no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and rights

• You can choose not to watch a rewarded ad and can control advertising preferences through your device and Google account settings.

• You can remove local app data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.

• You can choose not to use AI chat.

• Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to request information, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal data held by third parties. Contact the relevant provider directly for data it controls.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app's features, data practices, or legal obligations change. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
