If a student misses or will be missing a class due to illness, emergency, or extenuating circumstances they should contact their instructor as soon as possible regarding make-up work. A Student Absence Form may be used to report an absence to an instructor. If the absence is in the future the student should submit the forms to their instructors as soon as they know of the upcoming absence.

If the five or more day absence is in the future or is not reported before the student returns to attending classes then the student is not required to contact the UI Service Center. The student would use the Student Absence Form form to report the future or past absence to each instructor.

Florence Boos is a professor of English at the University of Iowa. Her teaching and research are interested in Victorian literature, the Pre-Raphaelites, and working-class writing. For more than 40 years, Boos has been able to connect with her students through a shared interest or goal of better understanding literary works from a different period. She is also the general editor of the William Morris Archive and has published a litany of critical works on the poetry of Dante Gabriel Rossetti and William Morris.

Examination of the ruins and monuments of Classical antiquity in Greece, Italy, and Egypt as the literal and figurative destinations of the Grand Tour and the inspiration for Neoclassicism in Europe and North America that imitated the grandeur of Classical antiquity in politics, the arts and architecture.

EPA is authorized by the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) to develop requirements and provisions for the Underground Injection Control (UIC) Program. This program regulates the injection of fluids (such as water, wastewater, brines from oil and gas production, and CO2) into the subsurface for the purposes of storage or disposal. The main goal of the UIC Program is the protection of Underground Sources of Drinking Water (or USDWs). USDWs are aquifers or parts of aquifers that supply a public water system or contain a sufficient quantity of groundwater to supply a public water system now or in the future. Class VI wells are one of six classes of injection wells regulated under the UIC Program.
