WHO WE ARE
Claro (published as "Social Photo Cleaner – Remove Duplicates")
is an Android application that finds and removes duplicate photos
saved by social media apps including WhatsApp, Telegram, and
Instagram. Claro is an independent app, not affiliated with any
of those services.

THE SHORT VERSION
Claro does not collect, store, transmit, or share any of your
personal data or photos. Everything happens on your device.
Nothing ever leaves your phone.

WHAT CLARO DOES
Claro scans folders on your device's storage where social media
apps save copies of photos. It identifies duplicate files and
shows you which ones are safe to delete. You decide what gets
deleted. Claro does not move, copy, upload, or transmit any
photos or files.

DATA WE COLLECT
We collect nothing.
Claro does not collect:
· Your name, email address, or any personal information
· Your photos, videos, or any media files
· Your location
· Device identifiers or advertising IDs
· Usage statistics or analytics
· Crash reports sent to external servers

STORAGE PERMISSION
Claro requests access to manage files on your device
(MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission on Android 11 and above,
READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE on earlier versions). This permission is
used solely to scan for duplicate photo files in social media
folders on your device. This permission is never used to access
files for any other purpose, and no file data is ever
transmitted outside your device.

IN-APP PURCHASES
Claro offers an optional one-time Pro upgrade through Google
Play Billing. Purchase transactions are handled entirely by
Google Play. Claro does not process or store any payment
information. Your purchase status is stored locally on your
device in encrypted storage.

NOTIFICATIONS
If you enable Ghost Scan, Claro may send you weekly
notifications about duplicate photos found on your device.
These notifications are generated entirely on your device.
No data is sent to any server to generate them. You can
disable notifications at any time in your Android settings.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Claro uses the following Android system services:
· Google Play Billing — for processing the optional Pro
purchase. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
· Android WorkManager — for scheduling background scans
on your device only.
No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs
are included in Claro.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Claro does not knowingly collect any information from
anyone, including children under the age of 13.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will
be published at this URL. The "last updated" date at the
top of this page will reflect the change.
