The Wilkie Clark Memorial Foundation is a 501(c)(4) Nonprofit Organization established on July 12, 2004, and dedicated to preserving the legacy of Civil Rights leaders Wilkie and Hattie Lee Peters Clark through stewardship of The Clark Historic Landmark Site. We support education, advocacy, and cultural enrichment programs that empower our community and honor the values the Clarks championed: justice, service, and opportunity for all.

The Wilkie Clark Memorial Foundation supports the preservation of The Clark Historic Landmark Site while advancing community programs that reflect the values of justice, education, and economic empowerment championed by Wilkie and Hattie Lee Clark.
Founded in 2004, The Wilkie Clark Memorial Foundation was established to honor the lives and legacy of Civil Rights leaders Wilkie and Hattie Lee Peters Clark. Through its work, the Foundation serves as the operating and fundraising arm for The Clark Historic Landmark Site and leads efforts to preserve cultural history, promote civic engagement, and uplift underserved communities in East Alabama.
