Are you a school leader who is interested in gaining information about the well-being of students and/or teachers in your school community? The SWELL Lab conducts online school wellness surveys that measure various key indicators that you can customize to your school's initiatives. Indicators include social-emotional-behavioral health, stress, perceived school climate, student engagement, bullying, discipline experiences, and social support among other variables. The SWELL Lab will guide your school team through the process, by sharing parent notification/permission forms to inform parents of the screening, as well as providing an online survey link and instructions for completing the online survey (which usually take between 10 and 20 minutes depending on which indicators are selected). The SWELL Lab will score, analyze, and summarize the results of the school-wide screening in an individualized written report and/or presentation for your school. For de-identified examples of written reports, please contact kellyclark@lsu.edu.

The SWELL Lab conducts research on the promotion of school safety and student mental health through equitable universal screening practices and evidence-based interventions. As part of this research, we collect data from educational professionals through various studies (e.g., online surveys, focus groups).
