Because local programs that provide Christmas gifts for children have an age cutoff of 13 years old the Clarion Kindness Project started a Gifts For Teens program in 2024. Teenagers aged 14-18 are eligible for the program. Registration for the program opens in the fall and parents must provide a birth certificate for enrolled children. A current school report card is also required for teens age 17-18.
Through the generosity of the community, we can offer this program. We accept donations of new/gently used items for the program at our office in Clarion.
Suggested items are soft blankets, room decor appropriate for a teen, puzzles/games, books, and socks. underwear, bath care kits, nail polish kits, makeup, hair styling tools & accessories, Pokemon cards, headphones/earbuds, sports items (footballs, soccer balls etc), craft kits, jewelry and jewelry-making kits, and Lego sets.
