I am a Lady Davis Postdoctoral Fellow and a researcher with the RegTrust ERC project at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. I'll be joining the Department of Political Studies at Bar-Ilan University as an Assistant Professor in October 2026.

My research examines how political identities, ideology, and institutions shape citizens' attitudes toward government and public policy. I am particularly interested in the public and elite attitudes toward government intervention, the relationship between political identities and policy preferences in opinion formation and political behavior, and the ways institutional design influences political behavior and regulatory governance. Much of my work uses Israel as a comparative case study, while addressing broader questions in comparative politics and political behavior. 

I am the recipient of the Israel Science Foundation (ISF) “Beresheet”  program award, for absorbing outstanding young researchers. My project, The Politics and Governance of Moral Issues (2026-2031), develops an integrated comprehensive theoretical framework for explaining why moral policies evolve differently across countries and across issues. Combining survey, experimental, and computational methods, the project examines how public values, institutions, and political elites shape trajectories of moral policy change. 

Methodologically, I specialize in quantitative methods, especially surveys and experiments. I also contribute to political methodology through my work on conjoint experimental designs. I am happy to advise in this area to applied researchers. 

I organize the Political Behavior Forum, a monthly workshop series for Israeli scholars that showcases work in progress in political behavior. Information about the 2026/27 series will be available soon. 

Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Policy, Elections, and Representation Lab (PEARL) in the Department of Political Science and The Munk School at the University of Toronto. I earned my PhD in Political Science from Tel Aviv University in 2023. My dissertation, Mind Our Own Business: Public Attitudes toward Government Paternalism, received the Best Dissertation Award from the Israeli Political Science Association.

My work has been published or is forthcoming in Political Behavior, Public Opinion Quarterly,  Regulation & Governance, Humanities and Social Sciences Communications, Research & Politics, European Political Science, Politika, and The Elections in Israel 2019-2021 edited volume.
