I am currently a first year Masters student at the University of Georgia, where I am pursuing a degree in Geography and currently working as a graduate research assistant. Being a student and an employee has taught me a lot of skills including time management, organization, and communication skills. I have been flying drones for several years now extending my knowledge and skill base to building first-person view (FPV) drones. I have started working with LiDAR sensors and post-processing the data collected by the University of North Georgia Institute of Environmental Spatial Analysis. I have also learned and used multispectral sensors to collect data.
I am currently interested in using remote sensing techniques to assess cities and their urban heat islands. I am also interested in geospatial intelligence and using programming to help better decision making and protect others.
