Welcome!

I am a Senior Research Scientist at Duke University. My research interests include international trade and finance, climate change, and the US foreign economic policy in the Asia-Pacific region.

My book, Making Financial Globalization (Oxford University Press, 2024), examines the interaction of institutions and interest groups in financial globalization. I am currently working on my next book projects on the Geopolitics of the Critical Minerals Supply Chain and the Political Economy of Climate Change. I am also a member of the Duke Critical Minerals Hub

I hold a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley; and a B.A. magna cum laude in Government and Economics from Cornell University. I was a project director at the Berkeley APEC Study Center and a postdoctoral research associate at the Asian/Pacific Studies Institute at Duke University.
