Clara Schäper

I'm a Doctoral Researcher in the Gender Economics Research Group of the Public Economics Department at DIW Berlin and a PhD candidate of the Berlin School of Economics and the DIW Graduate Center. I'm also a member of the Center for Economic Policy Analysis (CEPA Potsdam) and a guest researcher at the Federal Institute for Population Research (BiB). I am a Board Member of the Women in Economics Initiative since October 2023.

Prior to moving to Berlin, I completed my MSc at the Paris School of Economics, my Bachelor of Science at the University of Mannheim and was an intern at the European Commission in Brussels. 

My main research interests are labour economics and gender and family economics.
