We were 24 students and eight teachers. We spend five days together to improve our English skills, get to know new people, learn about human rights and the rule of law and raise everyone's intercultural awareness.
The most interesting activity was the debate about the proposition Bruce Springsteen once said: "Nobody wins unless everybody wins". The students produced a film review about the film "Blinded by the light" and two rounds of debate, where they had to defend their arguments. They also discussed the equality of opportunity versus equality of outcome.
We learned a lot about the danish culture during the week. Especially on the trip to Esbjerg and Fano. Everyday we did different activities, we didn’t have time to get bored. The only thing I didn’t expect was the freezing weather, because i didn't bring warm clothes. Nevertheless I had a lot of fun.
Thank you to the danish team for welcoming us to their country and for making us discover the way how they live. I'd like to thank all the people who worked on this project to make it possible for us to have such a great experience. Thank you very much!
