A Brief History

Personal experience: I only knew a little information about the history of Haiti and the Dominican Republic. When I read a novel or learn new information, I am passionate about finding out more to provide background information and more context to events in the stories. Every time we watch or read something that is outside of our zone of knowledge, we have an opportunity to immerse ourselves in new information and experiences.
