This Privacy Policy describes how ClapFind ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our mobile application. This app is developed and published by Tech Seekers ("the Developer").

By downloading, installing, or using ClapFind, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

ClapFind does not require account creation or login, and we do not directly collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.

1.1 Microphone Audio (processed locally only)

ClapFind uses your device's microphone to listen for clap and whistle sounds while detection is active. This audio is:

• Processed in real time, in memory, on your device only

• Never recorded, stored, saved to a file, or transmitted to us or any third party

• Immediately discarded after each audio frame is analysed

The microphone is active only while detection is armed. A persistent notification is displayed whenever the app is listening. When detection is off, the microphone is not accessed.

We do not perform speech recognition, voice recording, conversation monitoring, or any form of audio surveillance.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically (via Third-Party Services)

Advertising (Google AdMob, mediated with Meta Audience Network)

The App displays app-open, banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads through Google AdMob, which uses Meta Audience Network as a mediation partner. To serve and measure ads, these services may collect:

• Advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID)

• Device information (device model, operating system version, language, time zone)

• IP address, and approximate (coarse) location derived from it

• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, view duration)

This data is collected and processed by Google and by Meta Platforms, Inc. under their own privacy policies:

You can opt out of personalized advertising and reset your advertising identifier at any time in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.

Purchasing "Remove Ads" disables all advertising in the App.

In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)

The App offers one optional in-app purchase, "Remove Ads", processed entirely through Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment details. We receive only confirmation that a purchase completed, which the App records on your device to disable ads.

No analytics or tracking SDKs

The App does not use Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or any other third-party analytics, attribution, or crash-reporting service. We operate no server and maintain no database of users.

1.3 Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following on your device only:

• Settings (sensitivity level, detection modes, alert sound, flash/vibration toggles)

• Your "Remove Ads" purchase status

• Unlocked premium sounds

This information never leaves your device and we cannot access it. It is permanently deleted when you uninstall the App.

The RECORD_AUDIO permission is requested at runtime with a clear rationale before the system prompt: "ClapFind listens for claps and whistles only while detection is active. Audio is processed on your device in real time and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted."

3. How We Use Information

• To detect clap and whistle sounds and trigger the alarm (microphone, on-device only)

• To display and measure advertisements

• To process the optional in-app purchase

• To maintain your settings on your device

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share personal information with third parties, except:

• With Google (AdMob, Google Play Billing) and Meta Platforms, Inc. (Audience Network), strictly as needed to deliver and measure advertising and to process purchases, subject to their own privacy policies.

• Where required by law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental request.

Your microphone audio is never shared with anyone. It is processed locally and discarded.

5. Children's Privacy

ClapFind is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under GDPR (EEA/UK) or CCPA/CPRA (California), including the right to access, delete, or object to processing.

Because data described in this policy is collected directly by Google and Meta rather than by us, requests relating to that data are best directed to those companies. You can opt out of ad personalization in your device settings.

7. Data Retention

• Settings data persists on your device until you uninstall the App.

• Data collected by advertising and billing partners is retained under their own policies.

We retain nothing ourselves, as we operate no server.
