What is C.L.A.P.
What is C.L.A.P.
Preamble
The role of government is to enact the policies best for the people. In this political climate, the government seems most worried about who becomes president next, but there are more significant problems our nation faces, and our party will bring solutions to these issues. Our nation faces discrimination for many of our people, mainly women, immigrants, and people of color. To reduce such discrimination, we believe in positive reinforcement and subsidizing businesses for compliance to our policies.
The Common Liberal And Peace Party (C.L.A.P.) is a new party, here to serve a new generation of American voters. America has for too long suppressed the wants of the people through a stagnating two party system. Progressive ideals have been shut off from Congress. But no longer.
C.L.A.P. believes in true equality in every facet of American society. At C.L.A.P., we prioritize equality above any other issue. Specifically, we focus on three core issues that we believe need to be addressed: women's equality, immigrant equality, and citizen's equality. The 14th Amendment of the United States Constitution guarantees that all citizens are equal under the law, and we will make sure that are equally protected.
America is a diverse nation, full of people who ought to have a true voice in government, but currently don't. C.L.A.P. believes that with the current system of government that the United States has, the diversity isn't fully reflected by Congress. We plan on changing that.
C.L.A.P. is dedicated to breaking down barriers that are preventing many from fully experiencing the power of American democracy. As it stands currently, the two party system has stalled progress and stifled innovation. But the C.L.A.P. party is committed to reenergizing Congress and America.
The future will entail great success, but it can only be done with your support. The future of C.L.A.P. depends entirely on the hard grassroots and fundraising work of all of it's members. We hope to have our first member in Congress soon, potentially as soon as the next Congress election.
