Patricia McIntire Troth Hayes (aka Patty Hayes), Frederick, MD - President of CMA & Lieutenant to Glenoe, our Hereditary and Recognized Chief
suislady@aol.com
I have been an active CMA member since the early 1980's. Lots of blood (literally - paper cuts), sweat, and tears have been shed by me for the CMA.
Having been elected to Council quite a few times, I have held the positions of VP for Programs, VP for Membership, and President (3 terms in a row), including currently. I have also been appointed to the position of Assistant Genealogist and Genealogist. I have worked on projects over the years for the CMA: making banners, organizing older records, hosting and organizing 4 annual gatherings and meetings and hosting or co-hosting quite a few CMA tents at many games over the years. I have spearheaded getting our Association’s newsletter, database, website and treasury back on track. I have people skills, research skills, and sewing skills.
I currently live in Maryland with my husband, Arthur, and a cute little Shi Tzu dog , Leo.
Being a part of CMA is important to me and I enjoy meeting other MacIntyres.
Loretta McIntire Kelly, St. Louis, MO - VP of Membership

I was married to the same Irishman for 60 years before he finished his earthly journey earlier this year. We have 4 adult children who have given us 10 grandchildren and 17 great grands – all of whom are the apples of my eye. I have an undergraduate degree in Human Services and Social Work as well as a MBA. I love learning and would have enjoyed being a professional student; instead I have become a student of life, family tree road blocks, and helping others realize their dreams. As a member of Clan MacIntyre, I attend as many Highland Games as I can.
My work history includes sales, clerical, and administration. My volunteer history has been devoting time to church groups; Optimist International, where I’ve held offices as club President, Secretary/Treasurer, Lt. Governor of Zone 10, Governor of East Missouri Optimist district; I have chaired many committees such as new club building, fellowship, childhood cancer, personal growth and development, youth appreciation, new optimists wanted/welcomed, mentoring new members, etc. In the CMA, I recently hosted the AGM at our St. Louis Highland Games and currently serve as the VP for Membership. I am proficient in math, budgets, public speaking, computer, bulletins, and love to do research. I have many organizational skills.
Liz Jernberg Hadley, St. Charles, IL - Secretary
lizhadley79@yahoo.com
My husband Matt and I are raising our son Kevin in northern Illinois. I currently work as a driver and distribution center worker for Illinois’s second largest school district. When not driving a big truck or chasing my 6 year-old son around the house, I enjoy cooking, reading and trying any idea Pinterest shows me!
I previously served on CMA’s council for several terms. While on council, I served as President, Secretary, VP Membership and VP Programs. I am one of two third-generation council members and the only third generation President to lead the Clan MacIntyre Association.
Growing up, most of our family vacations involved going all around the country and to Scotland to attend CMA Annual Gatherings or other Highland games to compete. I was a Highland dancer and achieved premier level. After I decided to quit competing, I trained to become a teacher of Highland dance.
Vernon H Catron Jr., Temple, GA - Treasurer

I have been involved with the association since 1984 and have served several positions within the association (treasurer in the early 1990s, secretary, current treasurer, piper, and assistant genealogist). I am married to Mary (she is the MacIntyre descendant her GGM was Mary Jane MacIntyre) and have 2 grown sons and their great wives. I have recently retired from IBM
David McIntyre, Summerfield, NC

For those of you who don’t know me, a little background: I have served as Counselor at Large for the past 3 years. I live in Greensboro, North Carolina but spend about half of my time in Latin America (I am the Latin America and Caribbean business development manager for my company). I have a BA in History from the Florida International University and an MBA from the University of Miami. I speak Spanish, English, and Portuguese. I have always been interested in our Clan’s history and our kin and first joined Clan MacIntyre about 10 years ago.
Mike Glaspell, N. Richland Hills, TX
mwgtx@sbcglobal.net
I've been involved with Clan MacIntyre in the North Texas area for 6 years or so. I started out attending the Texas Scottish Festival and Highland Games and became aquatinted with Jerry MacIntyre there. That soon evolved into assisting Jerry host the tent at this festival as well as the North Texas Irish Festival and has now worked into me being the primary host for these events.
Coincidentally, my interest in the Clan MacIntyre Association happened about the same time that my parents began to get more information on our MacIntyre genealogy.
I've worked for Womack Machine Supply for 17 years doing inside sales and have volunteered in their MDA Walk for a Cure as well as at the MDA CAMP FOR KIDS. My company sponsors 100 kids with muscular dystrophy. I have also served as a greeter and usher for several years at my church.
For almost 20 years my wife Chris and I live in North Richland Hills, TX. I love visiting Scotland and being Grandpa to a wonderful 6 year old little girl. At 52, it's nice to still be "Cool" to her.
Marti Jernberg, Elgin, IL
mjscouter@aol.com
As a life member of the Clan MacIntyre Association, daughter of a charter member and mother of two more members, it is important to me that the CMA be a strong and growing organization. In my 30 years or so of membership, I have served on the Council several times and held several positions including president, vice-president of programs, councilor at large, and editor. I have also hosted several annual meetings. Currently, I serve as the Editor of Per Ardua, Storekeeper and Games Box Coordinator.
I hold a BSEd in Speech Education and a MEd in Educational Administration and am a Certified School Librarian. I am a retired teacher and program coordinator. My time is spent volunteering for various non-profit organizations (including the Boy Scouts of America), spending time with my husband and family (and babysitting the four grandchildren) and working two days a week
Cass Wright, Bellows Falls, VT
mightysleddog@hotmail.com
Cass Wright is a man born along the roaring Connecticut River of Vermont, but whose heart was forged in the fires of the Scottish Highlands. His wanderings led him to the Pacific Northwest for a time, along with his wife & three children, where they drenched themselves in the tribal traditions of the Tlingit and Haida. Returning to his beloved Green Mountain State in the late 90’s, he settled in his childhood home, the historic village of Bellows Falls, and refined his love for nature, and culture, as the municipal tree warden, and a Justice of the Peace.
He is the creator of Henceforth Tales, a regular feature in Celtic Guide, an online magazine, from 2012 to 2017. His penchant for Scottish history has broadened with the years, and he relishes the research and lively telling of clan origins and adventures. He is also entirely to blame for coining the adjective “mackintyrian”, which should serve to remind his fellow kinfolk just how much supervision he frequently needs.
