ECON 455: Economics of Education Policy, Summer 2019 (Undergraduate)

Examines the role that government plays in providing and financing education. Analyzes why people invest in education. Considers the effects of education on long-term social and economic outcomes, the behavior of institutions that produce education, and how to design and implement public policies affecting the level and distribution of educational resources. Students learned to use microeconomic models and empirical findings to analyze current issues in education policy.
