Environmental Change and the Microbiome
I'm currently a PhD candidate at the University of Nevada, Reno studying tropical lizards in the rainforest of Panama.
Millions of microbes live in and on our bodies and influence so many aspects of our biology. I'm interested in how these microbes affect their host's functioning, and how these relationships change when the environment changes. See my research page for more information on my work and check out my google scholar for my recent publications.
When I'm not catching lizards, pipetting in the lab, or analyzing my data, you can find me enjoying nature with my golden retriever, Orla, practicing aerial arts, or exploring a new creative outlet.Â
