Ceremony
Location: Holy Rood Lodge, Abingdon Rd, Oxford OX1 4LD
2:40 PM - Arrive at Holyrood Catholic Church
3:00 PM - Ceremony starts.
4:15/4:30 PM - Ceremony finishes. Proceed outside to greet the bride and groom with flower petals. Bride and groom will leave for photos. Guests are to make their own way to evening reception.
Proceed to Reception
As there is some time between the end of the ceremony and the start of dinner, guests are encouraged to ‘take their time’ in arriving to the reception. For instance, guests may take the ‘scenic route’ through Christ Church Meadow or visit one of the many historic pubs just across the street from the Divinity School—there will be time for at least one pint!
5:30 PM – Drinks and canapés reception starts at Divinity School.
Reception
Location: Divinity School, Bodleian Old Library, University of Oxford, Broad St, Oxford OX1 3BG
5:30 - 6:30 PM – Drinks and canapés reception in the courtyard outside of the Divinity School.
6:45 PM - Call to dinner and cake cutting.
7:00 PM – Grace before wedding meal (Fr. Daniel Lloyd)
9:00 PM – Dinner concludes. Toast and speeches.
9:30 PM - Dancing starts.
11:15 PM - Last orders at the bar.
11:30 PM – Bar closes.
12:00 AM - Depart from venue.
