I am a DC-based policy analyst working at the intersection of regulation, technology, and public health.
Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for the Assessment of Tobacco Regulations (CAsToR), which provides evidence-based and expert-informed modeling of the behavioral and public health impacts of FDA tobacco regulations. Specifically, I work with the Policy Analysis and Dissemination Core to guide FDA decision-making on tobacco and nicotine.
Broadly, my research focuses on the governance of health-related technology and the impacts of regulation and technology on public health.
I earned my PhD in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania and my B.A. cum laude in Government and Economics from Smith College.
When I am not doing research, I am also a pianist/keyboardist for two DC-area bands, podcast host of 2-Trick Pony, and a freelance artist.
