Raised in the Comox Valley, they were a part of the local musical theatre community for several years. They trained in several styles of dance (ballet, tap, jazz and more) and both classical and contemporary vocal techniques.

Claire's most recent works explore cliché, nostalgia, grief, and the intersections between art and science. With an interest in tabletop-scale performance, various types of fibre arts, and different styles of non-verbal communication, their practice is grounded in devised processes that blend design and performance making, and seek interactivity and connection to community. Select credits of theirs include Creator/Director of Water Park for the LIVE ACTS Vol. 1 Festival, Stage Manager of Ultra Violets by Alexandra Caprara presented at IndieFest re:Naissance Opera Festival, performer in Over There by Samantha Walters presented at Vines Art Festival, and Stage Manager for Controller by Mily Mumford presented at rEvolver Festival.
