Dr. Chan Kar Tim is currently a senior lecturer at Physics Department, Faculty of Science, Universiti Putra Malaysia. He is also a Research Associate at the Institute For Mathematical Research (INSPEM), UPM. His research works focus on theoretical and computational studies on eigenvalues of some hyperbolic surfaces with cusps and also in the field of complex networks. Recently, he has started to explore Density Functional Theory (DFT) on 2D and metal oxides materials.
