Mr. Hironmoy Kakoty has received the MAY Award, instituted by the Satyajeet & Anjana Ghosh family in honor of three distinguished educators in the Department of Civil Engineering at IIT Kanpur: Profs. Madhav, ASR Sai, and Yudhvir. The award recognizes engineering students whose work advances industry-academia collaboration, innovation, and real-world problem-solving, including contributions such as the number of patents filed.
